Dont rely on Desire
I first came to know about this concept some 8 years ago, since then I have heard/read multiple versions (from Rhonda Byrne, Sandeep Maheshwari, Esther-Jerry Hicks, Napoleon Hill’s book, Sadhguru) believed, implemented, disbelieved in this concepts.
“Itni shidaat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai, hi har zaare ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai…Kehte hain……. ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho, to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai“
which translates in English to
“If you so dearly want something, every particle in this Universe will conspire so that it gets delivered to you”
My distilled take-away’s from the learnings are below.
1) Always know clearly what you want: The 1st habit of Highly Effective people – in an epic book by late Stephen Covey is begin with the end in mind. I think this is a very important way of living. It not might always be an object or a materialistic goal. But most importantly it shouldn’t’ interfere when you are working on achieving something.
2) It will not be automatically delivered to you: Our culture has always said that “your life is your making”. What law of attraction means when it says…It will be delivered to you.It means when you are so dearly working on something – you will be able to recognize opportunities and act on it.
3) Your work will be most effective when you are doing it happily. While it is important that you know your Goal, it is also important that you work on it – its important that you remain happy when you are working to achieve your goal not because of some psychology but due to the fact that the human intelligence grows when it is in blissful state (a chemical story – not a psychological drama)
